I first stumbled across Beantown Handmade about a year ago when I was perusing listings on Etsy that involved knitting and crocheting. So when I was looking to feature a company that made unique dog accessories that would make perfect holiday gifts and stocking stuffers, Beantown Handmade immediately came to my mind.
Beantown Handmade is a small shop that sells adorable, high quality dog clothing and accessories and is owned by designer and creater Anne Burton and her husband. Bean (the darling Boston pictured below) is their beloved shop mascot/model.

Beantown prides itself on designing apparel for dogs, not people clothes for dogs. The dog’s safety, comfort, warmth and ease of movement is their top priority – once that is accomplished then they make the product cute. Anne’s motto: “We want your dog to hold his/her head high in what they are wearing even if it has a pom pom on it, and if Bean won’t wear it, we won’t sell it to you.”

I knew Beantown Handmade was different from most Etsy stores – not just because of the 
quality of their products but the uniqueness of her designs. And I quickly learned I wasn’t the only person who thought so! Like what you see and want something custom made? There is still enough time to buy for the Holidays! Hats, sweaters, scarfs, pet portrait ornaments and other made to order items must be ordered by December 12th.
Want to buy something in the Etsy shop? Ready to ship items (all sale items, pre-made ornaments, cards, etc.) just order by December 16th to receive them in time for the holidays.
