The 2nd Annual Canine Cancer Awareness Walk-A-Thon, an event to elevate public awareness of canine cancer and raise much need funds to support medical research, the key to finding the cure.  Cancer is the single biggest cause of death in dogs over the age of 2.

At last year’s event, our first, hundreds of wonderful people contributed $8,000 to benefit The University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

This year, they expect 300-350 humans and canine companions to attend this year on September 26, 2010 at Tyler State Park in Newtown PA., rain or shine.  The event will include various vendors, a professional photographer, a local radio station, free T-shirts and lots of giveaways!  Registration begins at 10 am and the Walk-a-Thon starts at 11 am.
