Milo was out of time and scheduled to be euthanized on Tuesday morning. Little Darling was very upset when the foster who was to pull him backed out in the final hour. She convinced Jeff that he needed to foster him until she could find him a long term foster or permanent home through Pinups for Pitbulls. While he is under Jeff’s care, he is learning his name and various positive reinforcement training techniques taught to us by good friend Drayton Michaels, CTC.
He’s located in South Jersey. He’s intact, but will be neutered at soon as he’s at a healthy weight for surgery. Pinups for Pitbulls will sponsor the neuter when he’s ready. They think he’s an American bulldog mix. He’s approximately 1-2 years old and needs a great person who will be patient with his needs.
He is currently under quarantine and has not yet been tested with other dogs but has already been successful at dealing with outside noises, was unphased by children walking by making loud noises, has been friendly to all humans he has met on his walks, and is overall doing a great job being a great foster!
He needs to pack on some weight as he is still pretty skinny. He weighs about 41 lbs but looks like he could potentially weigh double once he’s full grown and healthy again. He loves being nuzzled, hugged, kissed, and pet. He doesn’t know how to get up on furniture and even seems new to steps! He is in good care but will need a permanent foster home until he is adopted or better yet, a forever home.
He is a complete love and is very gentle.
He is still managed by the PSPCA/ACCT, so if you are definitely interested in either fostering or adopting Milo, you will need to fill out their adoption form through the ACCT.
Email is: adoptions@pspca.org or acct@pspca.org
HIS ID information is: ac20178 if you choose to file an adoption form. Please note his former listed name at ACCT is “Boney” which we changed immediately.
Please help us find his match. Pinups will do any introductions once the paperwork has been processed by ACCT/PSPCA approving a potential adopter. Since Pinups for Pitbulls is not an actual “rescue” (we are listed as advocacy/education) we cannot adopt him out ourselves.

I work at Cheerleaders in Philadelphia. I currently have 2 pitbull rescues. What special needs does she have? Do you think she will get along with my dogs?
