I’m so excited to announce that Philadelphia is having its very own Super Adoption Day on May 22, 2010! Citizens for a No-Kill Philadelphia is organizing the largest multi-organizational adoption event in Philadelphia history and one of the largest adoption events nationwide. It’s being held at The Piazza at Schmidts, right in the heart of Northern Liberties – a fantastic venue! Plenty of shopping and adopting will be going on!
Join dozens of rescue groups and shelters for a family friendly, festival-like atmosphere with lots of activities and attractions. Animal Shelters and Rescues from all over the greater metropolitan Philadelphia area will have rescued animals for adoption, local vendors will be selling unique products for people and pets, special guests will be in attendance and live music will entertain the crowds all day. Discounts on shopping all day! The Philly Dog will most certainly be there!
