Justice for Rudy

by Dash on February 7, 2010

John William Fleet III was recently charged with animal cruelty for allegedly pouring rubbing alcohol over a puppy and setting it on fire.  His own children turned him in.  The 5-month-old pit bull mix, named Rudy, was burned. Its neck, ears, whiskers were burned off, and one of its corneas was seared. Ruby also had been burned repeatedly with a cigarette.  As a result, he may be permanently disfigured, and possibly blind in one eye.

The animal welfare community has joined together for a petition to present to the Court asking that Fleet receive the maximum punishment under the law.  You can sign the petition here.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. No wonder his kids turned him in…as someone treats their furkids, they’ll treat their kids…

Thank Goodness for his kids.
What a piece of garbage. I truly hope the justice system has their way with this sicko.
