We’re right in the middle of a massive snowstorm so I thought that it would be the perfect time to post up my favorite dog sweater knitting pattern from TalkingTails. Once you get the basic pattern down, it’s easy to add sleeves, a hole for a harness leash, and even intarsia.
Also, don’t forget about protecting your pups paws from the snow and salt out on the sidewalks – it’s hard on their paws. Make sure you rinse and dry their paw pads – otherwise you risk having the hair between their toes get all matted which is painful for them. There are other safe paw products out on the market (like “SAFE PAW” ice melter) and plenty of balms out there to rub on their paws prior to venturing out in the snow.
