Hi, my name is Peety! I was found as a stray on the streets of Philadelphia, since no one knows much about my past they say I am between 1 and 2 years old. For the past 5 months or so I have made the shelter my home. I have met a lot of nice people here but honestly, I dream of one day having a home of my own, a family to love me and maybe even my own doggie bed! People always talk about how cute I am. I’m on the smaller side with gorgeous gold and white markings. So far, I know “sit” and “stay” and also “leave it”! I will do anything for a yummy treat and am looking forward to learning new things. I’m also learning how to walk nicely on a leash and I am doing so well! I have already been introduced to crate training and its not so bad! I love to run and play, but also like to cuddle and veg out. I am not a fan of kitties and shouldn’t live with them. I can be picky with my doggie friends, but do like some! You can follow my blog at: http://ashelterdogsstory.blogspot.com/.
I am part of ACCT’s Pen Pal Program. A volunteer has teamed up with me to teach me basic commands and help me prepare to reach my forever home! I would also greatly benefit from going into foster care. If you are interested in fostering or adopting me, please contact my Pen Pal Erin at erin.pawsadoptions@gmail.com!
I am currently at ACCT, 111 W. Hunting Park Ave., Phila. If you want to foster me and bring me to your house until you can find me a permanent place to live, that would be great; you can come down anytime between 9am & 6pm, 7 days a week; phone: 267-385-3800. If you want to adopt me, come down anytime Mondays- Thursdays 4pm- 7pm, Fridays 12pm- 7pm, Saturdays & Sundays 12pm- 5pm. My adoption fee is $75, which includes UTD vaccinations and microchip. I’m already neutered, so I can go home with you TODAY!!!
